Society Trips

Planning a golf trip? PazGolf makes it easy to coordinate everything in one place - from managing who's coming to tracking scores across multiple days of golf.

What's a Trip?

A Trip in PazGolf brings together everything for a multi-day golf event:

  • Multiple rounds - Each day of golf is tracked separately
  • Participants - Manage who's playing and their handicaps
  • Playing groups - Organise who plays with whom each day
  • Teams - Optional team competitions (Ryder Cup style)
  • Captain's Pick - Dramatic reveal ceremony for matchplay pairings
  • Player profiles - Photos and country flags on leaderboards
  • Side games - Fun in-group competitions like Oceans 11
  • Leaderboards - Aggregate standings across all days

Who Can Create Trips?

Club Admins and Society Admins can create and manage trips for their organisation. Any member can be added as a participant.

The Trip Journey

Here's what setting up a trip looks like:

1. Create the Trip

Start by creating your trip with the basic details - name, location, dates, and optional cost information.

2. Add Participants

Invite members from your organisation to join the trip. Their handicaps are automatically included.

Managing Participants →

3. Set Up Each Day

Add a trip day for each round of golf. PazGolf creates a competition for each day automatically.

4. Organise Playing Groups

Decide who plays with whom. Generate groups randomly, by handicap, by team, or use Captain's Pick for a dramatic reveal ceremony.

5. Play and Score

During the trip, players enter scores using the normal PazGolf scoring. Everything links back to the trip automatically.

6. Track the Leaderboard

Watch the aggregate standings update as scores come in across all days.

Side Games

Make each round more interesting with side games - mini competitions within your playing group:

  • Oceans 11 - Bank your best 11 holes for maximum points
  • Niner - 9 points per hole split between 3 players
  • Fourball Betterball - 2v2 match play within a fourball
  • Singles Matchplay - Head-to-head matches with handicap strokes
