Codes¶
Not every group wants you to set its trip up. Some would rather buy their own on paz.golf. A code lets you send them there and still get something back: the group gets money off its trip, and each trip bought with your code takes a credit off your next PazGolf invoice.
Fairway Breaks has a code, FAIRWAY10, printed in its trip brochure. Two groups have bought their trips with it so far.
Getting a code¶
Ask us and we'll make one for you. We agree with you:
- what it takes off for the group: a percentage, or an amount
- what each trip bought with it credits your invoice
- if you want, a last day for it, or a limit on how many trips can use it
Pick a code people can type easily: your name and a number works well.
What the group sees¶
The group's organiser buys the trip on Plan your trip on paz.golf. Under the number of players, they tap Have a code? and type it in. The price card shows the code and what it takes off before they pay, and tells them that you'll see their trip's name on your invoice.
When a code can't be used, the card says why instead: the code has ended, it's only for bigger groups (the card says how big), or it's for trips paid in another currency.
From then on the trip is the group's own, exactly like any trip bought on paz.golf. It isn't in your list of group trips, and you don't run it.
Your credit¶
Each trip bought with your code earns its credit as soon as the group pays. It comes off your next monthly invoice, on a line of its own that names the code and the trip:
Code FAIRWAY10: Westfield Society Tour
If your credits come to more than that month's invoice, the rest is carried to the next one. A venue's credits come off the invoice it already has with us.
If the group's trip is refunded in full, its credit is cancelled. If an invoice has already used it, we'll be in touch to settle it.
Where you see it¶
Credits still to come off are shown under your month so far: on a travel company's home page, and on a venue's Group trips card. They say how much, the code, and how many trips.
Invoices and your account goes through each line of the invoice.
